Wozniak: Cloud Computing Will Cause "Horrible Problems"

"Wozniak didn't offer much in the way of specifics . . . . [but said, 't]he more we transfer everything onto the web, onto the cloud, the less we're going to have control over it.'" Steve Wozniak was the inventor of the Apple I and Apple II computers.

  3. It can be convenient. But click on some of the post labels above, such as Worldbeam, for some of my concerns. I.m.h.o., we should not rely on these services unless and until we OWN them, which is not now the case. (Cf. credit unions, owned by members, and which have never been subject to the kinds of busts and corruption we saw with S&L's in the 80's or other banks since 2008.)
